What Does The Transparency Process Cover
Getting started in the process is super easy. The biggest misconception about the process is that each your report is automatically put into the directory regardless of what is found. This is not the case. Listing in the directory is not automatic. You have an opportunity to review your report before choosing to opt-in to the directory. As part of the process you provide information in a self-disclosure form. The information is then vetted in each of the following areas:

Legal Issues
Only the Pertinent Information
The self-disclosure process gives you the opportunity to disclose information that is pertinent to you business history. And the transparency report that becomes a part of your profile only reflects information pertinent to the type of business services you provide. For example: Let’s say you’re a website designer and you self-disclosed you had a ticket for criminal speeding. The vetting will verify the ticket, however the report would reflect that there was no pertinent derogatory information discovered as having a ticket for criminal speeding has nothing to do with your ability as a website designer. And…you have an opportunity to review the report prior to opt-in.
